Pale straw color with fresh aromas of white peach, lychee, lemon zest. Palate is crisp and vibrant, stone fruit and honey flavors framed by citrus notes. This is a rich mineral driven wine with juicy acidity and a long finish.

Meet the Owners

The husband and wife team of Bijal and Sinead Shah founded the Woodinville winery in 2004. Bijal is of East African/Indian descent, moved to Bellevue, WA as a young boy with his family. Bijal first made his mark in the fashion apparel industry prior to investing in his love and passion of wine. Sinead has been a full time airline pilot with a major airline for the last 20+ years, flying Boeing 787’s around the world.

Meet the Wine Maker

Jean Claude and his family have been producing wine in Alsace, France since 1579.  Jean Claude joined Woodhouse Wine Estates in late 2008.  Before coming to Washington, Jean-Claude demonstrated expertise in the cultivation of diverse varietals at Domaine Comte de Vogue in France and at various wineries in California, including Opus 1, working with Patrick Leon.

Calendar Wine grapes are 100% sourced from the historic Yakima Valley. The first documented grape plantings in the Yakima Valley date all the way back to 1869, and now has over 17,000 planted acres of vineyards. Yakima Valley today is producing some of the most highly rewarded and acclaimed wines in the state of Washington.
